Genuine Manuka honey comes from New Zealand.

Only Manuka honey that is harvested, tested and bottled there is allowed to bear the official "New Zealand Made" label, as well as the (MPI) certification – the official standard of the New Zealand government for genuine Manuka honey.

Therefore, brands that bottle their Manuka honey in cheap jars in Europe and then charge exorbitant prices for it should be treated with caution.
